The new name of our Department

We’re pleased to inform that the name of our Department was changed. Since the 10th of November current year, on the basis of the decree of the Rector of The University of Gdańsk it’s new name has been the Depertment of Socio-Economic Geography.

International project concerning energy poverty

On October 4th prof. Iwona Sagan was appointed by Mr Jarosław Gowin, Minister of Science ang Higher Education, to the one of two Polish representatives in the Steering Committee of the COST Action CA16232 „European Energy Poverty: Agenda Co-Creation and Knowledge Innovation”
