During the presentation, we will gain insights into research findings on the strategies that cities are adopting in response to forced migration and the processes involved in the arrival and settlement of migrants. The speaker will present different research approaches and empirical findings from nationally and internationally funded projects. A unique element of the lecture will be the aspect of dealing with forced migration from Ukraine using the example of the city of Leipzig in Germany.
