Prof. Iwona Sagan was invited by the EXPO organisers to participate as a Polish representative in a panel discussion on “Population Shifts: Balancing Urban and Rural Development” as part of the programme entitled “Urban and Rural Development Bussiness Forum”. The topics of the discussion were: urban population growth and migration, the right to housing and access to infrastructure, balancing urban and rural development. The Forum aimed to create an opportunity for knowledge transfer through an international debate on key issues for modern societies.
