On the 18th June 2015 Department of Economic Geography organised EVALUATE project workshop “Energy vulnerability of urban areas” in cooperation with Metropolitan Institute. The relation, co-authored with dr. Sergio Tirado-Herrero from University of Manchester, was published on the EVALUATE project blog. Similar events took place in Prague, Budapest and Skopje.

On the 8th of July 2015 as part of RECOUSE we had pleasure to host dr Tamar Arieli from Tel Hai Academic Collage. Tamar delivered a presentation about cross-border cooperation (CBC) between Israel and Jordan during 20 years of peace. The shy symptom of the peace between those countries is not white dove, but white barn owl.
