Just before the start of the summer holidays, on 6–10 July, methodological workshops were held in Ljubljana as part of the MAGnituDe project. Between 10-14 of September dr Joanna Stępień participated in the scientific workshop entitled “Current research on economic and urban geography” conducted by prof. Peter Nijkamp at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
The Conference „Spatial Justice in Europe” as well as the workshops within the “RELOCAL: Resituating the Local in Cohesion and Territorial Development” project were held in Barcelona between February 13th and 15th.
Prof. Iwona Sagan took part in these events as a member of the Advisory Board of the project, which is financed by the EU Horizon 2020 Programme.
On the 18th June 2015 Department of Economic Geography organised EVALUATE project workshop “Energy vulnerability of urban areas” in cooperation with Metropolitan Institute. The relation, co-authored with dr. Sergio Tirado-Herrero from University of Manchester, was published on the EVALUATE project blog. Similar events took place in Prague, Budapest and Skopje.
