Professor Iwona Sagan presented the preliminary research results of the EUARENAS project at an international conference in Mexico City, 29 August – 1 September 2022. The conference was organized by the Commission on Geography of Governance commission functioning within the International Geographical Union. The conference was devoted to the discussion on the “Local Governance in a time of global emergencies“. For four days, participants from all over the world shared their views and experiences on the different initiatives, actions and interventions taken at the local level to support or rescue local communities in the time of crises. Professor Sagan performed a triple role – speaker, session moderator and panel discussant.
