Big data and innovation in local democracy. Looking ahead to the next Recourse seminar
We invite you to the Recourse seminar, which will take place on 18 January 2023 at 13.00 in room B214 in the UG Faculty of Social Sciences Building. This time, the lecture entitled ‘Big data analytics in the evaluation of democratic innovation’ will be given by guests from the University of Helsinki: Prof Mikko Rask and Bokyong Shin.
The upcoming Recourse seminar will be accompanied by working meetings with the speakers, during which we will share our experiences, discuss current research projects and look for potential fields for collaboration. The morning session will take place from 10.00-11.30 AM in room B421, followed by lunch at the nearby Olivia Business Centre (11.30-13.00). After the Recourse seminar, during a two-hour wrap-up session starting at 15.00, we will try to sketch out a framework for research projects that we could carry out in collaboration with the guests from Helsinki. We encourage all those interested in the topics of big data and local democracy not only to attend the seminar, but also the accompanying events!
The Recourse seminar and accompanying activities are held in collaboration with the EUARENAS project (www.euarenas.eu). The project has received funding from the European Union Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 (contract no. 959420).
