Prof. Iwona Sagan attended the Regional Studies Association’s Annual Conference 2023 which was held in partnership with the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

It was a four-day interdisciplinary conference held between the 14th – 17th of June 2023, that brought together academics and policymakers to exchange news, views, and research findings from the fields of regional studies and science, regional and economic development, policy, and planning.

The topics presented and discussed at this international forum covered various issues. Prof. I. Sagan in the paper Fourth sector and new forms of latent civic activism as elements of a new model of democratic, inclusive governance presented the latest research results obtained as part of the project EUARENAS realisation.
