Work in the EUARENAS project is gaining momentum. Preliminary results of project research were presented by Professor Iwona Sagan at an international conference in Mexico City, organised by the Geography of Governance commission of the International Geographical Union.
The last Community Reporting workshop on the civic budget took place on 2 July. This time we invited Ukrainian men and women who have lived in Gdańsk for several years to learn about their experiences and thoughts on this instrument.

A Community Reporting workshop on the civic budget in Gdansk took place on 19 and 26 March. They were conducted as a part of the EUARENAS international research project.
The first twelve months of the EUARENAS project came to an end. The work carried out by our research team resulted in the selection of 11 techniques out of a multitude of forms of activities undertaken in various European cities to introduce or improve participatory and deliberative management methods. They will be further investigated and analysed in more detail in the coming year.
